About Me

“You are allowed to be both a masterpiece and a work in progress, simultaneously” - Sophia Bush

I see myself as your hope, health and wellness advocate.  I am here to guide, encourage and empower you to be your best YOU. When you function better, you will also feel better and LIVE better! (I know this be true both professionally and PERSONALLY)

As someone who has personally walked through my own health challenges, I do get it.  In 1998, I began practice as a Doctor of Chiropractic, but my personal journey ultimately set me on a course of post graduate studies to obtain a functional medicine certification. I have not looked back since.

I have in total over 20 years of clinical experience. I am a registered DUTCH hormone testing provider with the bulk of my practice helping women naturally balance their hormones although I have a wide spectrum of patients including young, old, men and women.

On top of private practice, I also have a heart for being out in the local community. I have provided regular care with a local women’s shelter and participated in various outreach events such as Community Care Days when I lived in Nevada and the Greater Danbury Free Health-Care Faire here in Connecticut.

I love to share the message of hope, health and wellness teaching on “How to feel, function and LIVE well at EACH stage of life” at local venues such as churches and community centers.

I have also been involved within my church and faith communities, leading various women’s groups, speaking, teaching, and organizing events/conferences.

In my free time, I am a bit of a research nerd on all things hope, health and wellness. I am also a total foodie; I enjoy healthy cooking and being creative in my kitchen. Most of all, I love nature (where my soul truly seems to soar) whether it’s with my hiking boots, on a bike trail, out on a kayak, skiing, sight-seeing or just a simple walk in the neighborhood.

My best friend is my husband, Scott. We have two adult daughters and a son serving with the Marine Corp. We have two very friendly and curious kitties that you may see around my home office, Maya and Kai.  I am a woman marked by my faith which leads me in both my personal life and practice.

If you would like to start off with a conversation, tell me your story and see if we are a good fit - reach out to me. I am here to help!
